Diabetes

Diabetes is a disease in which the body is unable to property regulate insulin. It can be either Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, both of which have been studied extensively. Diabetes alters the way your body deals with sugars in the blood stream, and is very dangerous if left untreated. The disease can end in organ damage and extremity amputation. Diabetes was the seventh leading cause of death in the United States in 2010.
